, CPRP, Deputy City Manager of Parks, Recreation and City Services
has been in recreation for most of his adult life. Originally from Smyrna, Georgia in Cobb County,
Jeff worked with the Cobb County Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department for 17 years and
more recently with the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department as the Assistant Director.
Jeff became Director of the Villa Rica Parks and Recreation Department in March of 2001 and holds a
Certificate of Public Management from the University of Georgia, is a certified Georgia Master

, Administrative Manager
joined the Villa Rica team in 2000. Tara performs financial and administrative
duties as well as the day-to-day operation of the front office. Tara earned an
Associate Accounting Degree in 2000 from West Central Technical College. Tara resides in

is a native of Carrollton, Georgia and has been in recreation for more than fifteen years. He worked for
the Carrollton Parks and Cultural Arts Department for twelve years. He is a graduate of Carrollton
High School and has attended the State University of West Georgia College. His
responsibilities with the Villa Rica Parks and Recreation Department include management of the department's

, Athletic Manager
was born and raised in Villa Rica and is a 1992 graduate of Villa Rica High School. His
responsibilities include management of the department's athletic programs. Michael attended
Jacksonville State University and worked part-time for the department from 1994 to 1998. He became
the full-time Athletic Assistant in 1998 and the Athletic Manager in 2000. Michael and his wife,

Danny Fischer, Maintenance Superintendent
joined the Villa Rica Parks and Recreation Department team in 2002. Danny is the department's first full-time
Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for daily maintenance of all Villa Rica parks and

Barry (Bear) Evans, Building Supervisor
attended Villa Rica High School where he was involved in football and basketball. He is responsible
for nighttime supervision of the recreation center at Gold Dust Park, including the department's
basketball free play program. Barry and his wife have two children.
, Senior Director
has worked with seniors in Villa Rica for more than 20 years. She is responsible for the management of

, Administration/Track Coach is a native of Chicago and came to work for Villa Rica Parks and Recreation Department in 2004. Corlis Long-Hudson, Concessions Coordinator
has worked with the department since 2002 and serves as the manager of the department's teen

, Pine Mountain Gold Museum Manager
has resided in Douglas and Carroll counties for most of her life. A 1972 graduate of Douglas County High School, she brings her years of corporate business management experience and volunteerism to the Pine Mountain Gold Museum and is responsible for the museum and the park.
