The Villa Rica Parks and Recreation Department is known throughout the State of Georgia for providing
innovative, quality leisure programs, facilities and activities that are designed to meet the diverse needs
of the constituents it serves. Customer satisfaction has been assured because the programs and activities
are well-planned and managed by competent staff and trained volunteers. Likewise, community
centers and public places are safe, inviting, accessible and well-maintained. As a result, Villa Rica residents
feel empowered to take part in community life and have developed a sense of pride in their parks
system. The controlling theme of the Department’s recreation philosophy helps contribute to a better
quality of life for the citizens of Villa Rica.

The mission of the Villa Rica Parks and Recreation Department is to enrich individuals, families and the
community as a whole through the provision of quality facilities, services and programs for the residents
of the City of Villa Rica and their guests.
