The Lamar Moody Recreation Area (formerly Lake Paradise Park) is located at Lake Paradise Road.  It offers fishing in one large 8-acre lake and one small pond that are stocked periodically by the City of Villa Rica.  The 130-acre park is open from daylight until dark every day, and admission is free.  Boats are permitted with electric motors, only and a fishing license is required according to State regulations.
